Playmate – Teri Marie Harrison
Teri Marie Harrison is Playboy’s Miss October 2002. Teri is the product of two different cultures, but the Florida native relishes her diversity. “My mom is Japanese and my father is German,” she said. “I have six sumo wrestler-looking uncles and a tiny Japanese grandmother, so I stick out like a Q-Tip in family pictures. Sushi and bratwurst—that’s my life!”

Teri started competing in local talent shows when she was nine. She finished high school a year early and briefly attended the University of Florida. Teri worked at Hooters for a while, and her best friend encouraged her to submit photos to Playboy. In addition to becoming Playmate of the Month in October 2002, Teri was Miss January 2003 in the German edition of Playboy.
Teri talked to Playboy about enjoying the climate in Southern California and the attentions of a new boyfriend. “I’m really into the whole rock-and-roll look,” she said. “My boyfriend Rob has a goatee, blue eyes, and black hair—nice. I want to take him out on the ocean in a yacht, have dinner and some Cristal, and … I won’t tell you what else. I know I’ll end up asking him to marry me, because when I want something, I want it!” Teri said she’s also turned on by “stability, a man who can watch a girly flick with me, and rock-and-roll music, baby!” Her turnoffs include “bad taste in shoes, dishonesty, and—most important—insecurity.”
Teri has appeared in several Playboy videos and worked as a model on The Price Is Right from 2003 to 2005. She acted in the horror film Snuff-Movie. “I would love to host a Wild On type of show,” she said. “Traveling helps people grow by enabling them to experience new things. It’s important to let readers know that Playboy isn’t something I’m doing just because I can. I really enjoy being photographed, but I want people to get to know me and to see how beautiful a person I can be on the inside and on the outside.” e “a great sense of humor, a sexy smile, beautiful eyes, and of course, really good Chinese food.” She’s turned off by “pickles, goat cheese, the smell of pork rinds, rude sarcasm, and coffee breath.”
