Playmate – Roos Van Montfort
Roos Van Montfort was Miss January 2014, which earned her the title of Playboy’s 60th Anniversary Playmate. Roos, pronounced “rose,” has tawny-brown hair, brown eyes, and a certain European je ne sais quoi. She was born in Geldrop, a small town in the southern Netherlands, more famous for Lord of the Rings tourism than for fashion models.

“Being a Playmate is the coolest thing I’ve done in my modeling career,” she said. “It’s a little part of history—after all, there will only be one Miss January 2014.” Posing with wolves outside a Hollywood castle on her Playboy shoot, Roos looked right at home. “I was actually freaking out on the rocks, because I thought the wolves were going to knock me right off the cliff,” said Roos, laughing. “So I pretended that I was a queen, and that the wolves were protecting me.”
Dressed in gowns, fur, and fierce jewelry, Roos looked like a warrior princess in her photos. “My last name makes me sound like royalty. Now I just have to find my prince!” She confessed to Playboy that she has a thing for “funny, confident men—even the messy ones who drink too much beer and eat burgers.” Her biggest turn-off? Guys who spend more time in front of the mirror than she does. “Don’t make me wait for you, baby!”
