Gemma Lee Farrell first posed for Playboy as the Playmate of the Month in November 2013, becoming the first Kiwi Playmate. She hails from the small town of Pirongia on New Zealand’s North Island. Playboy first caught wind of Gemma after she won a Playboy golf tournament in Australia. She was then flown out to Los Angeles and did her first non-nude shoot. Gemma went on to win another contest at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, where she was made the face of Playboy Club.

The November 2013 Playmate first entered the modeling world when she was 18, even though she says she was an “ugly duckling at school.” Major magazines begged to differ. She was asked to model for Australian men’s magazine Ralph Magazine and quickly made her presence known in the modeling world with her striking blue eyes and 5-foot-8 figure. Gemma has a long list of professional credits including Monster Energy, Maxim, Guitar World, Amore Magazine, Dreamgirl Lingerie, M! Men’s Magazine, Sports Illustrated, and Zoo. She was also featured in the TV series Next Stop Charlie and made appearances in Playboy TV’s Playmates.
Believe it or not, Gemma even once worked as a parole officer in a prison, which probably drove every inmate crazy. Since becoming a Playmate, she’s left her career in incarceration behind and wants to continue her acting career and start her own clothing line. Modeling still takes up most of her time. It’s amazing that Miss November 2013 has time for anything while touring with Monster and shooting spreads for magazines, but she always seems to make time for Playboy.
