Tony Grieger found his start in erotic photography in 1969. With graphics and watercolors, the trained programmer began nude painting in 1977. Then, 4 years later, he produced his first “body molds in plaster” (without molding compound). However, his job as a staff member of the Karlsruhe “Badischen Neuesten Nachrichten” took so much of his time that it was not until 1996 that he revived body molding (this time with molding compound) in many new works. From 1996 then followed various local and regional exhibitions, such as “Nude in watercolor” and “Body forms in plaster”. Since 1998, the beginning of artistic nude photography as an independent genre. Whether in the Eva costume or in a winter coat, the pictures of Tony Grieger try to capture the special female grace that has beguiled the male world for centuries, in all its aesthetics.
