Munich-based photographer Tom River is a master of erotic-ironic staging. His photographs are consistently expressive image compositions in which small stories are staged alongside actual acting protagonists. The artist tackles the subject with that small but ingenious wink of the eye that turns his works into living works of art, erotically tinged episodes from the inexhaustible reservoir of human desires. They are created at the highest level of craftsmanship, which is not only able to convince us, but also leaves a quite pleasant – tingling aftertaste. Tom River lives today as an independent photographer in Miltenberg and works on behalf of magazines, press and advertising agencies. His works are among others for Saatchi & Saatchi, Mc Cann Erickson, Lintas Frankfurt, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather.
