Peter Freitag, a German photographer, was born 1968 in Munich and still lives in southern Bavaria where his photo studio is now. He started with photography in 1986 with his first Rollei 35mm SLR. Over the years he also had his own darkroom for color prints and got a lot of experience in all types of photographic aspects. Being selfemployed and working as a computer consultant and software developer/integrator there was a time where photography has to step back a bit but in 2000 he bought his dream camera, a Rollei 6008 Integral medium format and started to work with the the square format. The year 2001 is the start date of his nude photographs using the uniqe square format to create his style of photos. Over the years he switched to the digital world and most photos you can see now are in the rectangular format.
