Black Label Magazine is the brainchild of Lincoln Mark Lease, a photographer from Portland, Oregon. He is inspired by classic photographers like Helmut Newton who defined the “fashion nude” niche of erotic art, as well as the cinema. He has built a magnificent and elaborate studio that he shoots out of, and also travels around the world photographing beautiful women. The studio he has built is inspired by the great havens of luxury from his travels, and adds a dramatic and cinematic aspect to his nude art photography. He prides himself in styling his models in high end lingerie, usually supplied by the designers themselves. Lincoln enjoys photographing women from all walks of life, from pornstars to housewives. His criteria for models is simple: if they are beautiful and interesting, he wants them in front of his lens. He strongly believes in treating his models with respect & dignity, never pushing their boundaries and never photographing them in an exploitative manner.
