H. Staack is a freelance photographer and painter from Berlin. His works are created exclusively with women who are not models and who have never before stood in front of a camera. This is, in his opinion, a basic requirement for interactive work and to achieve an arc of tension. His photos are not made to create desire for sexuality, but to show that desire is something beautiful, worthy of representation, something special. His claim lies in the representation of what is actually normal in a time in which is still hidden, ostracized and denounced. A time in which the most normal things are elevated to moral reprehensibility.
