Francois Benveniste
Francois Benveniste, born and living in Paris (France) has only been a photographer for the past 10 years. He specializes in nudes but also does landscapes and “old stones”. As a photographer he merely wishes to foster emotions in the viewer’s mind and heart and doesn’t want any of his intentions to be carried through to the viewer. He believes that the work is only finished when somebody takes from one second to one year to look at the image and applies to it his own biases, hopes, delights, detestation or pleasures. His photos are a collective work than span from the model to the spectator and of which he is only a participant.
