Björn Oldsen was born in Munich in 1965 and he never learned to photograph professionally. After completing his civilian service, he worked as an advertising photographer in a large studio. He actually wanted to study photo design, but then decided otherwise and preferred to study the practice in various photo studios. Since April 1999 Björn has been working as a freelance advertising photographer in the Black Forest.
