Andreas König is a professional photographer from Austria. “My love of photography was not born in my cradle in 1958. My father was an enthusiastic amateur photographer, but it took until I was about 17 before he infected me with the photo virus through the sudden purchase of darkroom equipment. But then thoroughly. After a creative break in the 1990s, it was digital technology that brought momentum back into the cooled relationship with aperture and exposure time a few years ago. Since that time, the human being, predominantly the female one, has been the focus of my photographic interest (besides my travels). On March 2, 2012, I really got going: I passed the master’s examination for professional photographers in Vienna. The essential step from amateur to professional was thus taken.
