Besides the disappointing findings about the culinary aspect of the so tempting red wax crayons, Heiko Frommhold initially had problems with writing utensils, because as a left-hander he smeared everything. But soon he was painting large-scale battle scenes with pirates, ships, Indians and animals. Mixing techniques is his favorite outrage. His inspirations were Batman comics and all black and white movies. He likes Vetasquez, Vallejo, Dürer Vermeer and Modigiani.
